Breaking News

Seattle Mariners superstar Robinson Cano — one of the best players in baseball — will be suspended for 80 games after testing positive for steroids … this according to multiple reports.

Unclear exactly when Cano failed his test — or what he was specifically using — but FOX Sports reporter Ken Rosenthal says he will get hit with an 80-game ban for “violating baseball’s joint drug agreement.

The 2nd baseman — an 8-time All-Star — is in the middle of a 10-year contract worth $240 MILLION. Many people believe he was headed to the Hall of Fame … but this could derail that.

The 35-year-old is currently nursing a broken hand which he suffered Sunday when he was hit by a pitch while playing against the Detroit Tigers.

It’s likely he will not be allowed to begin his suspension until AFTER he’s medically cleared to return.
